National Butterfly Center, 10/7/13

Had not been to the National Butterfly Center south of Mission in a while so I thought I would check it out.  Nothing great , lots of snouts and Pierids moving south.  This white was interesting.  I guess it's just a Great Southern White with the turquoise rubbed off the antenna knobs.  I've been trying to turn it into Felder's White, Ganyra phaloe.

Otherwise not too much going on.  Black Swallowtail is always a surprise down here.

This Mexican Bluewing was feeling good at the bait log.

Got another Giant White.  This one is a bit tattered.

Not your everyday shot of a Large Orange Sulphur.

The crucita is getting ready to explode so the big show should be ready just in time for the butterfly festival.
