Statira Sulphur at Progreso Lakes, 8/1/17

A couple of days ago I finally had a few butterflies in the yard and so I started running up a list. About midday I noticed a greenish sulphur on our Purple Duranta.  Needing a Lyside Sulphur for the day I went over to check it out and was surprised to find it was a male Statira Sulphur.  I saw a couple of them yesterday and a couple more today including a female.

Also new for our yard was this White-Patched Skipper.

Now I'm wondering how many of these big greenish sulphurs that I have been passing off as Cloudless were really Statiras.
